I just realized that I referenced the Scrabble tiles at our wedding yesterday, but haven't actually posted pictures of them.  [They were not, in fact, made specifically for our towel rack.]  I found a picture of big Scrabble tiles on etsy and loved them so much that I wanted to incorporate them in the wedding somehow.  But instead of buying them, I just described them to Will's dad, and he made them for us!  So talented.

They went perfectly with the guestbook, which was another nod to our English majors: a huge dictionary that the guests circled various words and wrote notes in.  We picked through the dictionary on our 9-hour drive back to D.C. the day after the wedding (the dictionary is a behemoth), and laughed the entire way.  Some were clever, beautiful, and meaningful...others were just kind of inappropriate.  We, of course, loved them all.
