home prettification

Holy goodness.  A title like that is what happens when I work a 12-hour day.  No good. But these things are good (My thought process is clearly super sophisticated tonight):

A fantastic blue sofa...I'm coming to the conclusion that a strong blue is totally a "neutral"...I've been wanting to use it like a white or black or khaki lately...how is that possible?  Am I just going crazy from sheer exhaustion? [I do have my laptop balanced awkwardly under my chin right now so that I can be as supine as possible...Will seems mildly concerned.]  Oh right.  Blue sofa:

And a jaw-droppingly gorgeous before-and-after from Design*Sponge.  I mean, let's be honest.  I would have been pretty pleased to have that original door.  But the door post-makeover?  I'd be insufferable.

This weekend I'm finally going to take some pictures of our apartment, which has none of the above elements, but is ours (and finally organized!  Hurrah!).
