home sweet home

We're home! Our travel was a bit hectic - we barely got out of DC ahead of the hurricane, and then were delayed for a full day coming back because of mechanical issues with our plane - but we had a blast regardless. It reminded how lucky I am to have Will's blend of funny, laid-back, and savvy to manage whatever obstacles come up. I mean, in a situation where some people let themselves get pushed back 2 or 3 days, and most were berating the airline staff, we somehow end up with first-class seats and the staff all smiling at us. WIN. Plus, nothing could really ruin our day when we had just spent 8 days adventuring and lounging around here:

Anyway, I know I've neglected this horrendously, and I've actually missed it a lot. So I'll be back with a vengeance [or at least stories and pictures] this weekend...I promise!
