coming out of the post-wedding haze...

I'm finally remembering that I'm interested in other things besides weddings. Looking around our topsy-turvy new apartment is making me want to scour interior design blogs all day, and a glance at my neglected closet makes me want to dive into fashion blogs, before heading out for a little (ok, maybe not so little) shopping trip. [But I can't completely abandon Style Me Pretty, Once Wed, or Ruffled quite yet. What a conundrum.]



One of my go-to places for home design/DIY makeovers is Design Sponge. I especially love the tours of artists' houses...no surprise that creative types would have some of the most inspiring homes. So when I saw that they were doing a book tour in my neck of the woods, I was pumped!







Unfortunately, I can't go. Fortunately, it's because I'll be in San Diego celebrating up a storm for Dave and Jenna's wedding! Definitely a trade-off I can live with...but for anyone else who's in the area, you should go. I mean, it's at an Anthropologie, and there will be drinks. Need I say more?
