I'm so old.

Today was my birthday! It was a perfect, relaxing day filled with good friends, good food, and a whole afternoon of laying in the sun on the roof with my favorite book and a drink. I think this is going to be a good year.

Will made the mistake of saying that I could pet my birthday present, which is in the mail. I'm pretty sure it's a tiger. I'm also pretty sure that he's never going to make hints that could be interpreted to be promising me tigers again.
