Will told me on Sunday that my birthday present was in the mail, and would be coming in the next few days. Let me just say, this guy is one of the best gift-givers I know. He nails every one. It could be enough to make you develop a phobia of never being able to match up, but generally you're too happy with whatever thoughtful gift he's just presented to even worry about it. It's a fantastic position to be in. Also, lest we all forget, he had given me the present-to-end-all-presents just two months ago:
[Yes, I just took that picture. Yes, the ring looks GORGEOUS......and a little wonky. No, I haven't been able to give it up long enough to get it re-sized. We'll cross that bridge later.]
Anyway, when I got in the car this morning, Will said that my present was under my chair, and I could open it right then, or wait until after work. After opening something, I generally like to say thank you 10,000 times and pet it for awhile, so I thought I should wait until after work when I would have more time. This made the day go by very slowly. [Hello, I'm a 5 year old.] So as soon as I got in the car tonight I dove under my seat and ripped open THIS:
Recognize it? Aaaaahhh I'm so excited! And it's so soft and lovely...I'm such a lucky girl!
