present hall of fame - Part 2

This one moved onto the list immediately. And I mean immediately-with-italics...I found it on my desk when I got to work this morning [by the way, there is no better way to start a Monday than like that]. I've been feeling not quite homesick, because I love it here, but nostalgic and very antsy to get home for Christmas. I feel like once I'm back in Hillsdale I'll be able to take deep breaths again...until I eat so much that it constricts my breathing, of course.

Anyway, Grennes is one of the most thoughtful friends I've ever had. She is a beast when it comes to remembering cards for special occasions. She's absolutely hilarious and loves all the same things I do [ex: Kate Winslet]. She's also one of the reasons that I've been able to feel at home here so quickly. That might be in part because we are both girls who LOVE our hometowns...which leads me to the cutest gift ever:



SO AWESOME. And a heck of a lot more attractive than chipping a block off of City Hall or the other similar memorabilia I was considering collecting when next home.
