present hall of fame - Part 1

It finally snowed in DC! Everything suddenly feels much more Christmas-y. We had a Christmas party last night and we have another two tonight, which means that today I've done nothing but a few quick errands and a lot of putzing around the apartment. And as my family knows, days like this necessitate mochas, and lots of them. Which brings me to one of the best Christmas gifts I've ever received:



When I was in college, Will probably heard as much about the amazing peppermint mochas that Wendy made me as he did about classes or track. I think he was a bit worried about what I would do when I didn't have her anymore, so he gave me my own little espresso maker/steamer. And though nothing can replace Wendy's expertise (please move to DC!!), this has gotten me through beautifully. Huge gold star for a present that brings me this happiness:
