- We're flying to Ft. Lauderdale today for a long weekend of sun (hopefully) and family (definitely). While I'm a little sad to be leaving a weekend of fresh snow and ensuing coziness, the hope of vitamin D is enough to lure me away.
- Speaking of flying, I really wish there was a way to force anyone sharing a flight with us to read this article first. While no doubt very kind people, those parents did some serious damage for the rest of us.
- When we return to the snow, we have to deal with the fact that our tea kettle met an untimely demise. The few days we've been without one have been very sad (#firstworldproblem). Then I stumbled upon this image on Pinterest, and fell in love! But of course, it's unsourced. And all brands seem to have discontinued their turquoise tea kettles. And now I can't settle for anything else (#evenmorefirstworldishproblem). Does anyone have a tea kettle they love? Bonus points for color! As Will said, a colorful tea kettle is like a pocket square for the kitchen.
[He really said that. And then poked me in the side until I typed it down here. Ok then.]
- Happy weekend...sunny or snowy!

I love my Le Creuset Zen Kettle and it comes in a ton of fun colors.

That said the price is a bit much. I was lucky and found mine at Home Goods for fairly cheap.
Oh Home Goods is such a good idea! I'll check that out before buying one full-price.
DeleteTom got a Le Creuset kettle for our anniversary (in yellow!) and I looove it. And welcome to FL - it's been 80F+ for us all week!!
ReplyDeleteThe Le Creuset is my favorite, but some of the reviews scared me off - have you had any problems with rusting?
DeleteNot yet, and we're going on 4 years.
