-I took pictures this weekend for the first time in a long time, which was great. It's so funny that you get out of the habit of even doing things you like...
-We spent most of Saturday in Georgetown (where I lived last summer, but hadn't been since, for some reason). We found a cool coffeehouse and read for a few hours, and wandered around in Anthropologie [well, I mostly did this and Will went to Patagonia] and Dean & Deluca. I really like that you get something out of visiting pretty places like that, even if you're not actually buying a lot. [Is it weird to call Dean & Deluca pretty? Well it is. Pretty pretty food.] I mean, I bought two bowls from Anthro and a pair of beautiful earrings, and we left D & D with only some kickass English cheddar, and sushi for dinner. But I'm still riding a bit of a high from seeing and being in and amongst artful, colorful, yummy things.

[I only got two for now...being realistic about how many people I'm usually feeding. But one day I will have lots and lots.]
-I'm trying to decide if I want to move the bookshelf that serves as a mini wall between my couch and bed and just put it against my huge blank wall and leave the room open. Because seriously, it's a tiny place, and I'm basically the only one here, and I don't mind if I can see my bed when I walk in the door. [Who am I kidding? I'd love it.] Thoughts? Anyone else a compulsive furniture-mover?
-We saw True Grit this afternoon after mass. Fantastic movie. I hadn't seen a good western in awhile...I highly recommend it. The formal way of speaking was enough to hook me...brilliant. The King's Speech and The Fighter are on the list for the near future too.
-Ugh...I totally have a coffee addiction. I get headaches when I don't have it now - how did I become this person? Oh well...time for a mocha!
I am dying to see the King's speech and yes, I have become the headache-without-coffee person too! Ugh is right... Oh well, keeps me (us!) productive and warm :)
