oh Bing

I've officially started listening to Christmas music, and I've got to say, it's about time. I was starting to get sort of tired and stressed [and generally very cold], so switching my Pandora stations happened just in time. Holy goodness, does Christmas music put me in a good mood. I love all sorts [it isn't December if you aren't listening to Mariah Carey belt it out], but especially the oldies. Frank, Dean, Ella, and Bing are just gold. They make me think of caroling, the smell of pine, and family, all of which are pretty fantastic. Plus, check out these album covers [at least Ella maintains her dignity]:

A mistletoe bowtie. I have no words.

But my very favorite part about listening to these cds comes in between the songs. Bing in particular talks the whole way through in his caramelly voice with funny explanations and musings about the season. Yes, I made up the word caramelly. And he always calls the audience "boys and girls", which makes me laugh at work. And he says things like "gee whiz". In short, you need to listen to his whole cd all the way through...you'll thank me, boys and girls.

  3. No, Christmas with Dino is definitely the one worth calling out-- staring deeply into the fire as with his semi-popped collar, red v-neck sweater, high water pants that reveal his white socks and penny loafers... but man does he have good hair!

I, for one, am a huge fan of the mistletoe bow tie! :)
