Tomorrow at work I get to go to sweet lectures with smart people analyzing what tonight's election might mean for our country. Have I mentioned I love my job?
Oh, and I also love my country. And the fact that an adorable 18 year old from Kentucky won Miss World 2010, making her only the third Miss USA to do so. Go team!
[p.s. this picture is from two years ago, when I would visit DC and get all excited and touristy and happy every time I saw this beautiful building and the monuments. Now I live here, and almost every morning on our drive in past the monuments I still get excited and happy and ask "Do you think people just get used to it? Do you think I'll get used to it?" I hope not.]
