- We're house-or-apartment-hunting again. We're very lucky that our sweet German landlord, Ernie (I might call all of our future landlords "Ernie" as a mark of affection), is letting us extend month-to-month...turns out having time makes all the difference in the world. But still, it'd sure be nice to know where we're living next, ja? I'm very bad at the searching process - as soon as we find something I like I immediately (mentally) move us in and start redecorating, and am subsequently crushed if someone else gets it first. Could this please exist in Old Town and be within our price range?
Hint: No. You're drunk.
- The perfect cottage above probably also has a window in the kitchen, and the kitchen is probably filled to the brim with Damariscotta pottery, which I can't stop wishlisting right now. [Yes, that's a verb.] I adore my wedding mugs, but the thing with Damariscotta is that it wants to be with more Damariscotta. Mugs and bowls and plates and vases and all so happy and colorful. Here - you can wishlist with me.
- Snapchats of babies going through their repertoire of facial expressions is endlessly entertaining...I mean, at least for aunts stuck across the country.

I am PUMPED for August recess!!!!
ReplyDeleteYes!! We get our boys back! :)
DeleteI did that with every apartment we looked at. I imagine all the furniture first. Then I plop myself in a leather armchair by a sunny window with a yellow mug full of coffee. It's never losing out on an apartment, just a yellow cup of coffee.
ReplyDeleteLosing a yellow cup of coffee is nothing to sneeze at...
