floating on air

Last fall, Will and I were walking around Old Town and saw these magical hot air balloons in the window of a little French store. This was shortly after our anniversary hot air balloon adventure, so we obviously had to go in to see them close-up. They were so whimsical, grouped together in different sizes and colors and clearly perfect for the nursery and bedroom of an imaginative child (maybe one prone to telling not-quite-truths about the adventures they had in the balloons...I wouldn't mind that). In any event, we agreed to wait for now, but come back and buy one whenever said child was in our more immediate future.

January is suddenly seeming the very immediate future, and we can't wait to meet our little love! So, so happy.
