2012 was a very hard year, and a very good year. It's almost impossible to not use cliches at the end of the year - they're so vague and tidy - so I'll allow myself one (thanks much, self). Though the seas were rough for a while, we never lost our anchor, and for that I'm incredibly grateful. This year proved to us that God is constant, and His love and the love He surrounds us with in friends and family can give us infinite strength and peace.
And with that strength and peace eventually comes courage. I'm so thankful that I'm not as afraid beginning the new year - Joshua 1:9 is perfect: "Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest."
Peace, love, and courage.
2013, let's do this.
