While we're on the topic of my love of twinkly lights, I can't stop day-dreaming about a tent reception for our wedding. It's sort of odd, because I always
always thought that one of the easiest ways to avoid stress for a wedding is to not have any of it outside...genius, right? But now that it's my own, all I can think of is lots and lots of natural sunlight and breeze and grass and late summer and....then I just stop thinking about what would happen if it were to rain.
These images are just taking over my brain. [Well, the portion of it that I've allowed to think about the wedding that is...I wouldn't be able to edit op-eds about the new Hungarian Constitution all day if it had free range!]:

Perfect, right? The only problem is,
I can't figure out where to put the damn thing. Any suggestions? Especially you Hillsdale folk...does anything come to mind? I would really, really like to have a pretty tent!
AAAAAAHHHHHHHH we were THIS CLOSE to getting married here:

It's a vineyard. It won The Knot's best-of to get married in Michigan contest in 2007 or something.
We would have gotten married there, too... only a May wedding in Michigan is even tricker when you're thinking about weather. Good thing we didn't go with it, too, because it rained. But for August... I wouldn't worry a bit.
I love those inspiration pictures!!! We are doing a tented reception and I'm so excited about it. It just seems more romantic and fun!
