My friend Wendy was a bright spot in college. She'd pop into classes with peppermint mochas for me just because. She wrote essays that captivated the rest of our creative writing class. Her book recommendations are the gold standard. And now, unfortunately, we're on opposite sides of the country...just when I keep thinking how fun it'd be to have playdates with our daughters.
