I'm kind of a fan of decorating with fish. I'm immediately wanting to walk back from that weird statement, but I think they're quite pretty (and have more personality than advertised). I'm also trying to remind myself that it's not easy to convince people to fish-sit for you, and they eventually become a hassle for something you bought for $5.00 on shopping trip for paper towel and tortilla chips. So this is just a public oath that I won't have a lovely Beta fish in a dramatic bowl on my new kitchen island...pinky promise.

DeleteI can't believe I never saw this before. I had a red beta fish in college with the exact same beads in the exact same vase. His name was Ferdinand Magellan. He died the day the Colts won the Superbowl, man he went out on top!
