happy Easter!

We had a happy, full home today for Easter.  Tons of yummy food, yummy drinks, cheerful ranunculus, fresh air...oh, and bubbles.  Bubbles off of our balcony.  We only pretend to be grown-ups.  [But we can collectively whip up a menu of honey-baked ham, asparagus with bacon and goat cheese, potatoes with onion and garlic, egg frittata with tomatoes, spinach, and feta, ginger-mint fruit salad, and enough desserts to adequately celebrate the end of fasting...just for the record.  But we scarfed it too fast for any documentation.  Thanks to Jenna, Christine, Alice, and Whit for your culinary expertise!]

I hope everyone had a blessed Easter!

  7. thanks, all! Hannah, we used that canvas at our wedding last year, and it makes us happy to have it in our house :). the name of the blog came a German word (my family is German), that's sort of hard to translate...it generally means a feeling of coziness and friendliness - which is what I want my home to always be like! :)

[I'm thinking about changing the blog name, though, since it's hard to spell and say. But even if I go with something simpler, that intent will remain! :)]
