So much wisdom tonight.
We just got back from 4 days in South Carolina at our friends' lakehouse, and it was magical. All we did was jet ski, eat, lay in the sun, eat, go on boat rides, eat, celebrate birthdays, eat, watch fireworks...oh, and drink a large number of mojitos. Will was on a roll. Anyway, I'm a firm believer that a mild tan and whatever vitamin D does to your brain can (combined) can prepare you for anything, so I'm back feeling rested and ready to go. Which is good, because tomorrow I start my new job, and take stock of that wedding to-do list again...how does it seem to never get shorter, no matter how much I do? That's some sort of magic too - but not the good kind.
