is it spring yet?

Of course I'm excited to see the sun again, and to not have to put on 3 layers to walk to lunch, and to be able to open the windows in my apartment. But lately, I've been most impatient for spring to come because of the CLOTHES. I need to set aside my coats and black tights [and even my beloved boots] and get into some of these beauties:

Love love wrap dresses...and I've been wearing a lot of purple lately:



I could be persuaded to wear suit jackets if there was a feminine, floaty blouse underneath [from the always amazing Glamourai]:

And I finally caved to above-the-ankle dress pants after seeing how 9to5Chic [aka new blog love] rocks them:



I can't wait to pair the new pants with heels, a black cardigan [suit jacket if I have meetings...blech], and this new shirt from Loft...not with the olive green cargo whatevers this model is wearing:



Of course...it's supposed to be rainy and cold tomorrow. Punxsutawney Phil didn't see his shadow, did he?
