harumph.

I'm half-heartedly moping right now because I'm not in the midwest, where they're getting slammed with the biggest storm in years. I LOVE blizzards. And we're only getting rain here! My frustration is compounded by the fact that I missed out on DC's snowpocalypse last year, and was explicitly promised that if I moved here after college, another one would be engineered for my benefit in Winter 2010/2011.

[I'm completely incapable of saying "snowpocalypse" out loud. Everytime it's mentioned in conversation and I can tell that I'm going to have to say it I slow waaayyy down and speak really quietly. But I can type it! Snowpocalypse. Snowpocalypse.]

Anyway, I have been thwarted by the weather yet again. And for such a cosmic trick, there's only one solution:

Oh come on...you have to have seen that coming.

  1. ME TOO! I am not from the midwest, but having living in Boston for years I am seriously missing snow. I want Mark to have a week off work to be home with Behr and I. I want Behr to get to experience his first blizzard at only a few weeks old, because let's face it, the pictures would be awesome! And I really just want a better reason to be holed up in my apartment other than "recovering from major surgery."
