Just got done watching a Mad Men [we're behind, and miserly allowing ourselves an episode every once in awhile. I hate the feeling of not having any more saved up and having to wait a whole year.] And we started making an apple crisp wayyy too late tonight, so it just came out of the oven, so I'm sitting here all sleepy and thinking about bed, but very happily eating a warm piece of apple crisp. [In the interest of full disclosure, Will was the driving force behind this...I was actually the sous-chef, though I didn't have a hat. Next time I'm demanding a hat.
Anyway I need to share the love. This is basically the recipe, but we went a little heavier on the honey, added old-fashioned oats, and you MUST use honey crisp apples. Really, I don't even know why any other kinds exist.
I heard that I'm going to be angry. damn it.

I sure hope that that apple crisp is real life. It looks real good :)
