"Who, me?"
Will and I were joking the other day that a lot of Mollie's behavior would be explained by her thinking that there was someone else in the house named Mollie, too.
Us: "Mollie, don't touch that! Don't climb there, Mollie! Mollie, that's not food!"
Mollie: "I'm sure they're talking to someone else."
I know I'm a broken record, but this girl is a firecracker. And it's so fun. She turned into a full-fledged conversationalist when we were home last week, and now she lets you know how she feels about everything, and at great length. I feel like she keeps me off balance; one second she's basically talking back, and the next she's attacking me with hugs and kisses for no reason. I can't get enough of it.
She celebrated turning 10 months by suddenly waving this morning - previously she just stared down anyone who tried to wave at her. She prefers to do it with both hands, and it's the funniest loose wrist flutter I've ever seen (yeah yeah, not that I'm biased...). She thinks it's hilarious, too.
She's crawling everywhere at top speed, tries to climb everything, and walks along couches, her crib, and chairs, but doesn't seem to be interested in "real" walking yet. [Thank goodness...I need to get back in shape before that happens.] Her new favorites are the dog park, sneezes, and homemade mac and cheese (her always-favorites are Darcy, trying to eat things that have appeared on the floor since I vacuumed it approximately two hours ago, and bath time). Oh, and because she's very concerned with being hip, she dances on cue to TSwifty and "Shake It Off."
She does a hundred things a day that make me shake my head, and a hundred and one that make me thank God she's ours. We love you, Mollie-girl!

you are so amazing at writing her cool quirks.
