I can't believe half a year has already flown by! I'll pay an absurd amount of money to anyone who says that general opinion is wrong, and time does in fact start going more slowly. (That's right - I'll pay to be delusional.)
We haven't had her 6-month checkup yet, so we don't have any stats on hand. But this girl is big...we'll leave it at that for now. She's also charming, intense, loving, and has quite a temper. But she's clever about it, and rarely exhibits it in public, so anyone we meet on the street coos about how perfect she is. Like I said: clever.
In the past month she's become a rolling pro. Front, back, sideways...presumably end-on-end based on the distance she covers when I'm not looking. She gets cranky because she wants to crawl so badly. She makes the most wonderful face where she furrows her brow and gives herself a double chin while trying to blow raspberries.
She still has the prettiest blue eyes, most wonderful rolls, and most winning smile. She's also still rather bald:
Yesterday she was giving me a very slobbery, very long kiss, and she started laughing in the middle of it! I thought there was nothing better than baby kisses, but they might be topped by an open-mouthed giggle fit against your face. I started laughing too and tried to pull away to get a breath, but Mollie just grabbed my ear like a handle and pulled me in for more. Being smothered was never so delightful.
