never too early for a little Jane Austen...

Two friends so far have given us books from the wonderful BabyLit brand and I just had to sing their praises!

They simplify classics into counting/color/shape, etc. books...so your baby might not learn the plot of Anna Karenina, but it'll be far more entertaining for the parents than most other baby books.

The style is fun, the notes are cheeky, and the books are sturdy and can stand up to teething babies if Sophie happens to be discarded:

"What do you mean, our neighbors think I don't know the difference between these two?"
