...fall, that is. I think it's truly coming to DC, you guys! Tomorrow has a forecast of sunny and a high of 70 degrees (perfection), and I don't see another 90 degree day for at least the next two weeks (which is as far as my weather app is willing to go. It likes to hedge its bets. I think if I took it to Vegas we wouldn't have a ton of thrills, but we'd win a respectable amount of money.)
And though I'm obviously less affected by the weather than, say, people who can go out in it, it does make a difference. I think it's going to be much easier to stay inside when it's getting colder outside and our apartment feels cozy, instead of thinking about a pulley system to get to our courtyard and catch some summer sun.
Plus, I know that people say you should just embrace your tummy and wear fitted tops when pregnant, but I've always tried to wear as many big, cozy, unflattering sweaters as possible anyway. Ooh and huge scarves. And now it's the season!
I don't even know what exactly is happening with that second lavender thing, but I love it and want it.

This makes we want to make a fire and drink hot cider!
ReplyDeleteYES. The fire's a bit out of reach, but hot cider is doable!
Deletei want that lavendar thing too. it's so pretty and cozy. also, congrats on a girl!!!! and being pregnant in general of course :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Bridget! It hasn't been easy, but that just makes us feel even more blessed :)
