I think the key is pointy-toed instead of rounded fronts. Still, looking at those pictures, they don't seem very "academic organization in D.C."...
But then check out Elin Kling! That could totally be D.C., and her accessory is a Rhodesian Ridgeback. I think I'm going to take that as my cosmic blessing and peruse Zappos.
