thankful

Hope you all had a wonderful Thanksgiving! We were in Ohio with Will's family, and it was perfectly cozy and peaceful (despite a rambunctious puppy harassing the older, noble family dog). It was impossible not to feel thankful for family, health, and all of our other blessings.

And after deciding to drive through the night to avoid holiday traffic around D.C., we've been laying very low today (i.e. sleeping till noon) and focusing on all things cozy:

Made this french onion soup for dinner tonight.

Seriously craving this cashmere coziness...I don't think I'd ever take it off.

We're going to get our little Christmas tree this week - but in the meantime I keep thinking about a tree like this some day. Cutest ever.
