daily serving of fruit
As usual, Smitten Kitchen knows what's up. I've used this basic recipe now for a strawberry-rhubarb crumble and an apple-strawberry one. Both, I can say without any pride, were pretty fantastic. [No reason to be proud, since I just follows her directions to a T. Why didn't anyone tell me that while creative license is good for cooking, it's not so good for baking? Everything is so simple and delicious now.]
