Whew! Sorry about the radio silence around here. In case you haven't heard, the midwest/east coast had a pretty massive storm on Friday: 80 mph winds, lightning strikes, trees falling on houses and cars, the whole bit. Most places are still recovering from power outages, which is especially dangerous in this extreme heat. I'm grateful that I only lost power for a few hours this afternoon...hopefully everyone else's comes back soon! In the meantime, if you're out of luck you should come over and help me eat all of the popsicles I bought on a particularly scorching day. I've realized that, happily, popsicles don't get any less exciting as you get older.
