ramblings

Oh, hello. I know, I should be embarrassed by how long I've been absent. But I can't force myself to be ashamed...too much fun has been had. And in true Monday fashion, I can't focus, so here are some random tidbits:

 - This weekend was the wedding of one of my best friends from college, and the first time our group of 5 housemates were together since my wedding a year ago. Even though 3 (4!) of us are married now, we left the boys at home (except for Katie...she couldn't very well ditch the groom), and we had a fantastic girls' weekend. We even had the bachelorette party in our old college house - talk about a blast from the past. The time with those girls was too short, but effectively reminded me of how lucky I am to have lasting friends.

 - I've been very focused lately on eventually having a window in my kitchen...or my kitchen in a window:

 - I'm trying p90x yoga...starting tonight. We'll see how this goes.

- If you feel like you've been too productive today, how about a live cam of six golden retriever puppies who are so little they can barely walk? That's what I thought.

 - Have you ever heard of Lake Retba in Senegal? Blah blah blah, something about lots of salt and other chemicals. The point is, the thing is pink:

And that's all I have to say about that. Too cool.

  1. Someone once told me all she ever wanted in a house was a window above the kitchen sink to look out while washing dishes, with a ledge wide enough to set a pie there to cool.

  4. I... I love you. Can I throw out a little "You have bewitched me, body and soul" in a sort of non-threatening kind of way in the hopes that you can understand my sentiment. Sweet. Sentiment sent. I assume 'twas recieved. LOVE
