We've basically been in the midwest since the end of July, and were so blessed to be able to spend that time with Judy before she passed away. Life has been really complicated, and really hard. And through it all, this little girl has been a blessing to literally everyone she sees. She's made doctors, nurses, and patients smile in multiple hospitals. She's been there to cuddle when people just need a hug. She (along with Mollie, of course) has been a constant reminder both of new life, and the amazing legacy their Grammy has left behind.
I know this isn't my usual kind of monthly update, but this is what our life has been this summer and fall, and it's how we'll remember these months of Liv's life. Yes, she's gained a tooth and loves to stand and hit other milestones, but more than that, she's brought sunshine to everyone when we needed it. Thank you, Lord, for this gift.
[And short-hand notes, so I don't forget: she has 3 teeth, very ticklish (loves me nuzzling her tummy), crawls every and swivels to sitting like a ninja, likes to sit up tall in hurdler's stretch, pops her lamb pacifier in herself with great authority.]
