Praise the Lord for (finally) sunny days, and the arrival of chunky baby legs and arm rolls! I can't stop smooching this little cutie, and she rewards me with the best smiles, coos, and laughs. Nothing makes her happier than one-on-one time with lots of eye contact and snuggling. It makes me feel a little guilty when I think of how often I'm pulled away by some Mollie-emergency, but Liv's sweet demeanor seems able to handle both alone-time, and attention when it's available :).
She seems like she's impatient to catch up with everyone around her, and is constantly trying to sit up or stand. She also just started teething with a vengeance, which brings the one bit of crankiness to her otherwise sunny days. I had forgotten how early teething can start - it makes me feel like the lazy newborn days are already behind us! I'd mope about that, but Mollie helped me learn that they just get more fun :).
I need to write this down, in case she turns into a handful at some point in her life and I need to look for her good points: She's been sleeping 8-10 hours straight for weeks already. It's amazing. Sometimes it's a "short" stretch of 7 hours...but Mollie was still doing that at a year. I feel like I should start every day with a "thank you" card and a balloon for this girl! I'm fully aware that my days would be much more difficult without being rested, so prayers of thanksgiving go up daily.
We love you, Liv!
