This picture captures her personality so well, I can't even believe it! She's wildly confident, a complete daredevil, incredibly stubborn, and ready to take on the world. But (only betrayed by the up-turned corners of her mouth in this picture, that make you realize you don't know which Mollie you're about to get), she also has a fantastic sense of humor, is exasperatingly smart, and overwhelmingly sweet.
When she hurts herself doing some risky stunt she cries hard, then comes to hug me, patting me on the back and saying "It's ok, Mama." She loves being in on the joke, and loves being the joke - she used to have to rely on funny faces to get people's attention, but now is a full on drama queen with silly voices, noises, and sayings that have gotten a good reaction from her audience in the past. She's started reciting whole books while we read them to her, which is both wonderful and terrible to behold. She terrorizes Darcy, and adores her. Nothing makes her happier than Daddy walking in the door, and he'll probably be her favorite for forever. She's so excited for her baby sister, who will undoubtedly recognize her from the raspberries she blows on my tummy in place of kisses.
This is an amazing age, but I'm slowly accepting that she just keeps getting better and better, so I won't waste wishes on stopping time. Cheers to two, Mollie-girl!
