birthdays are funny things

No, it's not mine again. No worries. But it is my youngest sister's.

I took this picture four years ago now, but I still love it. And she's still this cute.

Anyway, as I was saying, birthdays are funny things. And some people get lucky enough to have this random day seem not-so-random. Gracie, for example, has always been musically talented, smart, and remarkably strong in her faith - her older sisters have definitely gone to her with questions, confident that she can explain whatever they're wrestling with (or so I hear). Also, this girl can cook. She tops off phenomenal meals with desserts that push you over the edge of complete culinary contentment. And she happens to have her birthday on the Feast of the Assumption and Julia Child's birthday. Pretty cool, if you ask me.
