sheeeeep

I took my students here yesterday:

...which is always fun.  I've been to Mount Vernon at almost every time of year now, since we take each semester's class there.  But I had never been in early spring.  I thought the only difference would be that it was rainier, but I was grossly mistaken.  Because when you go in early spring, they have these:

Baby sheep everywhere!!  Seriously, this is maybe a quarter of them.  There were white ones, and black ones, and spotted ones, and they would come over and nibble on your fingers.  The students actually considered just leaving me there, since, in their words, "You couldn't be this happy anywhere else."  I think I would be most happy had I taken the tiny black one who was by himself in the corner home with me, but oh well.
