Pippa's purse

I am not a "purse girl"...by which I mean, I have only two purses that I use regularly, and I have no desire to own more.  That probably means that I'm no good at accessorizing or something, but if I'm being honest, the idea of switching over all of my stuff constantly just gives me a headache.  [So yes, I'm being lazy.]  I have happily used one purse almost every day for the last 13 months - a cognac Nine West shoulder bag with a cross body strap, for those who are interested.  It's wonderfully versatile, holds everything I need, and doesn't feel or look too bulky.  But of course, after 400-something straight days of use, it's getting kind of tired.  Which means I'm in the market for a new purse that can stand up to the challenge of looking polished, going with everything I wear, and holding everything I need (including makeup bags, books, and high heels, on occasion).

While this may seem nearly impossible - and I think I've looked at (and rejected) almost every purse in existence at this point - I have finally succeeded.  Want to see?

How beautiful is that?  And check out the glorious amount of pockets to keep everything organized!  (I think Will bought me my small purse just because it would make it harder for me to lose things inside of it...):

Now here's the cruel joke.  This happens to be the same purse with which Pippa Middleton is infatuated.  She owns one in every color available.  Which is all fine and dandy, except that it means that thousands of women immediately rushed to copy her after the first picture of her with the purse appeared (the day after a little thing called the Royal Wedding...have you heard of it?  No, I don't think there were many paparazzi there...).  I've never had a vendetta against paparazzi personally, but now I do.  Because, of course, I hold them personally responsible for the fact that this purse is sold out for months at a time.  What the cuss.

So now I have to play the waiting game, or give in and find some purse that I don't love as much.  I'm notoriously impatient, but this one might be worth it!
