"Once in our world, a stable had something in it that was bigger than our whole world." - C.S. Lewis
I hope everyone has had a wonderful Christmas! We've had an abundance of goodness in the past few days. Will's family came over the weekend, and we were spoiled with family recipes and stories and solid catch-up time on everything that's been happening since Westport this summer. Then Mom, Dad, and Gracie came (we miss Clara, Michael, and the girls so much!) and brought a whirlwind of Christmas with them - our house is filled with cookies and presents and things that make an Old Town apartment feel shockingly like Hillsdale, MI.
The realization that this is our last Christmas as a family of two has made me so quietly content just to be around our parents and siblings. And both families will be back so soon! Other than a respectful request that nothing happen while our doctor is out of town for a few days, we're ready to meet our girl whenever she is! In the meantime, I'll help her put on those last pounds by stuffing my face with Christmas cookies.
